Your program describes what each record must contain, not which form to write it on. So if you already have paperwork that works, keep it — you lose nothing by skipping this.
Why we mention that first
Plenty of safety programs instruct a crew to complete “Form 2” and then sell you Form 2 separately. That makes the document you already paid for incomplete by design, and a reviewer reading it will notice the gap before you do.
Ours does not name forms. It says what has to be recorded, who records it, and what the record must show. Your existing checklist satisfies that if it covers the same ground — and the crew keeps using the paperwork they already know.

- Not required. The program is complete and usable without it — that is the whole point of describing records by content rather than by form number.
- Not a replacement for paperwork that already works. If your crew has a checklist they actually fill in, that is worth more than a better-designed one they ignore.
- Not software. These are documents you print or fill on a phone, not a system to log into.
